Goodmorning!

Goodmorning to all my sweet friends. I can not thank-u enough for all your prayers and words of encouragment. I am so overwhelmed by all the letters, cards and sweet emails from all of you. I was telling my aunt yesterday about all the support you all have given me. She was amazed, she reminds me so much of mama. She is just like her. She is a wounderful christian lady, just like my mama was! Oh how I miss her! I know my Daddy misses her so much. They were married almost 50 years. I was always the closest to mama, But Daddy and I have become very close. He has been so good through all of this. He just tries to make me laugh. And he does a good job of it! Yesterday,I just had to make it one hour at a time. But I have learned that is all-right, just as long as I make it! I read Prov.3:5 last night. It says, Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. I hope you all gave a very blessed day!

  6. Hey Faye, I am just now catching up on my blog reading. Storms caused no internet yesterday. Always know that my prayers are with you. I would love to put that prayer button on my blog too. Can you tell me how? I left your grandaughter a little message on her blog too.

  8. Oh Faye, I am still praying for you over here. That's a wonderful verse to hang on to, you just keep doing it second by second. His peace will guard you. I promise. But I know firsthand how hard it is to let it all go. You can beat anything with Him!! Thank you for your sweet comments. It's nice to make new friends.

  9. I'm so glad the internet can be used for GOOD when it usually seems to be so filled with BAD, ya know?

I'm glad we bloggers can not only PLAY together, but also PRAY together!

  10. Faye,
Sometimes it seems like trust is such a hard thing to do. And it is, unless you know the person really well, so well that you know exactly what to expect from them. As we come to know God more and more, we will know what to expect from Him and it will be easier to do. Keep seeking Him and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. He will and you will trust Him as a result. Faith is a fruit that is born in the heart of the one who knows God!

Blessings to you and prayers too,
    Christy

  11. That's what it is. One moment at a time. I love the verse that promises "And as thy day goes, so shall thy strength be."

It just promises that He will not fail to provide us strength for today. Just enough to get us thru the day. He will give us strength for tomorrow when tomorrow comes and not before.

  12. Dear Faye,

Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog; your words always make me feel happy. I'm so glad your daddy is still with you. My mother is still with me, but my daddy died when I was nine, so you are very blessed, indeed!

I love that scripture, too. Sometimes I just repeat it over and over, on a tough day.

    Love,

    Marqueta
