WHAT ARE YOU LEARNING?

YOU KNOW HERE LATELY HAS BEEN SOME TRYING TIMES FOR ME. I HAVE LEARNED A LOT IN THE PROCESS THO. I HAVE LEARNED TO BE STILL AND WAIT ON THE LORD. I HAVE LEARNED TO HAVE FAITH. I HAVE LEARNED THE CLOSER YOU TRY TO GET TO GOD, THE CLOSER THE DEVIL WILL BE ON YOUR HEALS! I HAVE LEARNED TO EXCEPT THINGS THAT I CAN NOT CHANGE. I HAVE LEARNED IT IS THE LITTLE THINGS IN LIFE THAT MATTER THE MOST. I HAVE LEARNED TO ONLY WORRY ABOUT TODAY, BECAUSE TOMORROW MAY NEVER COME. I HAVE LEARNED TO LIVE EVERY DAY AS THO IT WAS MY LAST, BECAUSE IT VERY WELL COULD BE. I HAVE LEARNED TO SET GOALS FOR MYSELF.I HAVE LEARNED TO LOOK AT THE GLASS HALF FULL, INSTEAD HALF EMPTY. I HAVE LEARNED SO WHAT IF I DO NOT GET ALL THE HOUSEWORK DONE IN ONE DAY, IT IS ALLRIGHT. I HAVE LEARNED NOT TO EXPECT SO MUCH OUT OF MYSELF. I HAVE LEARNED IF I FAIL IT IS ALLRIGHT, IM NOT PERFECT. I HAVE LEARNED TO TAKE LIFE ONE DAY AT A TIME. I HAVE LEARNED READING MY BIBLE EVERY MORNING HELPS ME GET THROUGH THE DAY. I GUESS THIS TO SOME OF YOU WILL SOUND OFF THE WALL! I WAS JUST THINKING TODAY ABOUT THE PAST COUPLE OF MONTHS AND HOW HARD THEY HAVE BEEN, AND THEN I GOT TO THINKING LOOK HOW MUCH I HAVE LEARNED THROUGH IT ALL. I AM SO BLESSED. I HAVE A PRECIOUS HUSBAND, FOUR BEAUTIFUL GIRLS AND TEN GRANDCHILDREN! I HAVE A LOVING FAMILY ON BOTH SIDES. AND HEY I HAVE ALL OF YOU MY SWEET FRIENDS.
THAT IS IF YOU ALL DO NOT TRY TO PUT ME IN THE LUNNEY BIN AFTER READING THIS POST! NO I WAS JUST WANTING TO SHARE MY THOUGHTS OF THE DAY WITH ALL MY SPECIAL FRIENDS, BECAUSE I HAVE LEARNED I CAN!

  9. You're right, Faye, the closer we get to God, the harder Satan tries to defeat us! He doesn't want us making any progress for the Lord. We just have to keep plugging away for His glory.

    Blessings, Leslie

  12. Hello,
Thank you for your sweet visits to “see” me. Sometimes I just cannot get to read the blogs I so want to read. It is different day to day; I never really know when I will get the chance. I try to get in little bits at a time. So I have finally made it here to read this encouraging post. It is good to learn not to worry. One of my sisters told me that it is a sin to worry. Really? I guess she is right, because that means that I am NOT trusting God…for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
Well, I am happy to read about all that you are learning and I need to take these things and remember them, too.

  13. I love it!! You are using this time to draw closer to the things of God and his ways. You are so much closer to Him, to his peace and joy and love. It may not always seem so but I can tell from your posts how much love is in you. I still continue to pray for you and your family. I hope your daughter is doing fine still. Sorry, I've moved and I haven't had internet for a couple of weeks so if you have posted about her I missed it!! Hope all is fine. I will have to scroll down and catch up.
Thank you for that wonderful post, it was a breath of fresh air this morning.
