I know it has been a while..I have been out of town..My daughter has been very sick..She was suppose to have surgery..Then she took pneumonia..We just got her out of the hospital Tuesday..If all goes well she will have surgery on March 25..Please keep her in your prayers as well as Lisa and all our other precious friends that are sick..Hope you all have a blessed weekend..Love you all:)

Thank-u all for your prayers.Geraldine came through her surgery good.The cancer was confined to her eye.She did lose her eyeball but in about 6 months they can put her a glass eye in.I just thank God for things being as good as they are.Please keep our precious friend Lisa Smith in your prayers.Lisa is fighting a battle of her own.God is giving her Grace to get through it.They are so many that need our prayers.God has a way of keeping me on my toes!But I am glad He does!I know this is short but I will post more soon.Hope you all have a blessed day! As I was telling you in my last post,My sweet friend and the mawmaw of my grandsons,was going to have a scan.She did have the scan.They do not think the cancer has spreaded.Her surgery will be tomorrow in Atalnta.She will lose her whole eye,but we are all praying that it is contained to that area only.Please continue to pray for her.We do not understand things sometimes but I do know God is in control.My mama always told me that something good would always come out of something bad!That I believe.I havent been on much lately,My desktop has a virius.I am using my granddaughters laptop for now.Hope you all have a great day! I have a prayer request.I was telling you all about my daughter Amys mother-in-law.She has the tumor behind her eye..It is CANCER..They are going to do a scan on her today @ 1:00.Please pray that it has not spreaded..If it has, they will not do sudgery on her at all..I do not know what her options will be..This is a dear sweet lady..And is the mawmaw to my precious little grandsons..My heart just hurts for all of them..Please keep Amy in your prayers..She has a time with sweet Noah (who has autism) Amy is a great mother,My daughter,My best friend,But more important,My sister in Christ..Hope you all have a great day..I will be posting updates as soon as I get them..Love you all!

They are so many of my friends sick with cancer and other different things.You know if I prayed and called out each and every name, I would never get to say Amen. I am so glad that when I pray God already knows all about it. Please keep Lisa Smith in your prayers. I told her last week that after all is said and done she will have a testimony to share with everyone... She said she had already told God that this would not be waisted! Good morning to all my precious friend. I have a sweet friend,Her name is Geraldine Whitlock.She is my daughter( Amys mother in law.) They found a tumor behind her eye. She has been back and forth to the best doctors in Atlanta. You can find the best deals in there.They have a little bit of everything there.Thier clothes are all , well most of them a dollar. I took this yestersay, Just as it started to snow. It was really coming down.All the grands were so excited! We do not see that much snow here, so when we do it is a big deal! AN UPDATE FROM AMY; Faye's daughter

Hello, to all my mother's blogging buddies! I hope you are all well and thank you for keeping my mama inspired!
I am writing to give you an update and a prayer request. As you know several weeks ago, the doctor found "a spot" on Faye's lung, but miraculously, at her last visit, the x-ray showed nothing. Well, most likely, what happened was this "spot", which we now know was a blood clot, moved, and this movement caused Faye to have a stroke. The Lord intervened, one more time, and put the right people in the right place, at the right time.
Her sister-in-law saw the early warning signs and got her the immediate, life saving help she needed.... She was in the hospital for 3 days. The homecoming was a bit confusing for her, but the doctor says the "long term memory loss" should recover. Her left eye was drawn some, but the doctor believes the swelling and even the drawing should go away with time. Do pray for her leg, though. It is giving her a bit of trouble. Just enough to keep her from driving, but there again, the doctor says therapy should help.
She and Dwight are in Summerville, and was here when the stroke happened! I thank God us girls were close to help, and my older sis even came down from Chicago to help, as well.
They will be here in Summerville for a while to allow for rest and full recovery! I will keep her updated on all your warm comments!! She says she misses you and loves you all...

In the meantime, Dad, Dwight, has caught a bug... Probably a repercussion from the stress... This bug has turned into pneumonia. He is in need of your prayers, as well. He is a wonderful, strong man, but even they can get down, too. Pray for his spiritual and physical strength.

So many of you all have sent me emails and cards wanting to know where I have been. Thank-u so much for caring! You all are such a joy to me. The truth of the matter is I have been so busy. We were in revival last week. I have had so much going on at one time. But this is good. It keeps me busy. I am working on a birthday party for my daddy and his brother. It will be in about 3 weeks.I enjoy doing things like this. Week before last I was at our summerville home. There is so much I need to get done. I have just been doing a little bit at a time. After I get done with the birthday party, My next project will be to paint the whole inside of the house. I have missed you all so much! Again thank-u for caring so much about me. You know my mama always said you can look around and find someone in worse shape than you. I did not have to look far. One of my little blogger friends need our prayers! On Oct.6,08 she was told that she had acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Avarie is 4 years old! She has had a bone marrow transplant. This is day 10 of the transplant. It is not going as good as it should. I wish I was close enough to them to help out, but all I can do is pray for her and check for updates when her parents has time to post them. Her and her family has been on my heart so heavy! I can not imagine what her parents think or feel. I know they are so tired. She keeps that sweet little smile of hers most of the time. Please help me pray for her, and pray for her parents, that the Lord gives them strength to get through this. I know you my precious blogger friends can get a prayer through, so please PRAY! Goodmorning to all my precious friends! Hope you had a great weekend! I had the best weekend I have had in a long time. It was very quiet and plesant! We had a big cookout, Then we went to see the fireworks! They were beautiful. Yesterday before we left we ate dinner with my sister-in-law. We had a great time. I think we all have decided, It is so sad that we have lost so many loved ones, But we know where they are and they are better off than us right now. We have all agreed that life is so short and we need to live every day as it were our last! And that is what we did. You know we were talking yesterday, So many people just go with the flo. They act as if thier life was in thier own hands. I think that is so sad. I thank God every morning I wake up, Because it is a blessing. I try to pray about everything. I know we have to pray with faith. That is the hard part for me. A friend of mine gave me a little mustard seed to keep with me at all times! Matt. 17:20. I guess when you get a scare like I have, It makes you stop and think! The material things in life are not inportant. They are nice to have but God is the most important! Salvation. Thank-u all for all your cards and emails. you all mean so much to me. I just wanted to check in with you all. Everything is doing better with Hannah. She did get her a new car, and even tho she is learly about driving she was so proud of her car. She is getting a little better each day! I thank God she is well off as she is! As for me it is going to be a busy couple of days with tests. I feel very good about everything. I am trying to stay as positive as I can. You all are so special to me. I cherish each and everyone of you! I have really enjoyed my break. It has been good for me. I am sorry I have not responded to your comments and emails. I will get to it soon. Goodmorning to all my precious friends.I can not thank-u enough for all your prayers! You know these past couple of weeks has been so stressful for me. Sometimes I feel like I am just standing still and life is passing me by .Losing Kristy (my niece) so unxpected.I huged her on Sunday,before we left our Summerville home, and then early Monday morning they called me and said she had a blood clot to hit her brain and she was brain dead! Wow that was a shocker! Then all this with this mass I have and waiting for tests and test results. And then Hannah being in that offul accident. You know I said Sat. Lord just how much more do you think I can take! And then I caught myself. I told him I was sorry I did not mean it.I was afraid He would show me how much He thought I could take. My Mama always said,Look at the glass half full instead of half empty! And she was right. Kristy was ready to go. Hannah is getting better each day, I have just got to keep a good additude no matter what. Here lately that seems so hard for me. Mama always told me,what you make it through, Made you stronger and it was Gods way of preparing us for what was around the cornor. Oh how I miss her so much! The doctor told me that my additude was half the battle.I know it is.When we brought Mama home from the hospital ,The

doctors said she would not make it through the weekend! Well she showed them. She lived almost 9 months after that! Oh how thoes 9 months stand out in my mind.I know God gave us that time to be with her. You know while we were still at the hospital, I finally talked Daddy in to going home for a while to rest. Now keep in mind they said she would not make it through the weekend! He said he got home and could not rest. He told us about 12:00 midnight He felt like he needed to pray! He slid out of his chair and hit his knees. When He got back to the hospital he told my brother and I that he had prayed that the Lord would just let her live to come home.He just wanted another day or two with her at home! The Lord answered his prayers. She lived thoes 9 months. I think thoes were the most precious memories I have of her. We made everyday count. We laughed, We cried, and Mama shared things with me that I never did know about her! From things of her childhood, Up until the day before she died. I stayed side by side with her thoes precious 9 months. Her faith and wisdom was amazing to me. And she let me know it came from God! You know she was trying to prepare me for her death that whole 9 months.I guess I did not really realize it until she was gone. That is a true christian mother. You know she lost her eyesight a couple of weeks before she died. She could see shadows but that was all. She would tell me, Oh how I wished I could see. She never complained about anything. The day before she died, which was early Fri. morning, About 6am, I knew she was getting worse. I said to myself, God all she wanted was just to be able to see! Mama went off to sleep. She awoke at 10:am Her sisters and I was there with her. One of her sisters was on one side of the bed and I was on the other side. Mama opened her eyes and said, Oh my it is 10:oo. I have slept all morning! Then she looked at my aunt and I and said, Well you both look like twins today.You both have on yellow! My eyes watered up as I looked at her and I said, Mama can you see us? She said yes! Yes I can. I just looked up and said thank-u God for fixing her eyes! Wow, what an awsom God we serve! He is never early or never late, He is always right on time. I am trying to have a good additude, through all of this.It is hard sometimes, but Mama would say, That was where my faith in God comes in! Wow, The Lord has away of keeping me on my toes these days! I have came to realize,What ever happens with all this,Eathier way I will win the victory! I love this scripture, 1Chron:16:23. I am so sorry I do not know why I said all of this. I just got started and could not stop for some reason! Just keep me in your prayers,as I know you all will. You all are such strength to me. You always have encouraging words for me! Just wanted to give you a quick update on Hannah! She has been released from the trama unit! It is amazing what God can do. Prov.3:7 is such a good verse for me. I have said it over and over! You know the weekend was so long and sad for me. I seen times I did not think I could make it another step. Them I could hear my Mama say what she always said to me (Whatever you go through will make you stronger and produce more faith for what was around the corner) She was a very wise lady! I have so much to be thankful for. I am so blessed. You know as I sit here, I think about how this blog was going to be for all my crafts, and It has allowed me to meet you all. You all mean so much to me. As Abby says, I think God is in blog land! Hope you all have a very blessed day!

This ia my daughter, with her little daughter! Please keep praying for her. She is doing as good as she can right now. She is in like a body brace. They will not let her move at all. I feel so far away from her. I am here in Ga. and her in South Fla. My son-in law has been great with calling and keeping me updated. I felt so sorry for him. He said he thought she was dead. She was not moving and covered in blood! I talked to her and WOW did she have a testiomy! She told me even tho she was in and out she could hear what was going on. She told me, Mama when they put me in the chopper, I just started praying. I said Lord I am here all by myself, no family, My husband is at another hospital, Please just let me live to see my husband,baby and my family again! Please be with me, she said Mama the chopper took off and then I remember opening my eyes and seing the sun. The closer I got to the sun the more peace I felt! It was finally so bright I had to close my eyes. I had such a peace and warmth come all over my body! I knew then that God was with me and He would stay with me through all of this trama! I do not know when she will be coming home. and then she has a long road to recovery! It will be a while before she will be able to walk. When she does get home, I am packed and ready to go, and take care of her for as long as she needs me. Oh what an Awsom God We Serve! The EMT said he did not know how she came out of this alive, Well I do. It was God hearing all the prayers. And most important He heard hers! Thank-u for all your prayers. Please just keep them up! Pray for my son in law. Bless his heart he has been so strong through all of this. He says all he has is cuts and bruses, But I know his heart is hurting also! May God Bless!

I just talked to my son in law.He said she was doing as good as she could right now. Of course she is in a lot of pain as you can imagine. Thank the Lord they have ruled out sudgry for now. Hello to all my friends and prayer warriors! My daughter needs all your prayers. She and my son in law left out for Florida yesterday. They got there safe. This morning they was leaving out to go and eat breakfast, and a truck hit them head on. They had to life flight my daughter to the nearest trama center. The doctor said it would be a while before she could walk. She is in a lot of pain. My son in law was not hurt bad. He has some cuts and bruses . He was mainly worried about her. He was in one hospital and her in another. He was finally released this evening. He was so happy so he could go and be with her. I am a long way from her,I have just been praying for her.The man that hit them Was on drugs, and come to find out, it was not even his truck! Thank God He did Spare her life but she has a long road to recovery. Please just keep her in your prayers. May God Bless!

Goodmorning to all my sweet friends. I can not thank-u enough for all your prayers and words of encouragment. I am so overwhelmed by all the letters, cards and sweet emails from all of you. I was telling my aunt yesterday about all the support you all have given me. She was amazed, she reminds me so much of mama. She is just like her. She is a wounderful christian lady, just like my mama was! Oh how I miss her! I know my Daddy misses her so much. They were married almost 50 years. I was always the closest to mama, But Daddy and I have become very close. He has been so good through all of this. He just tries to make me laugh. And he does a good job of it! Yesterday,I just had to make it one hour at a time. But I have learned that is all-right, just as long as I make it! I read Prov.3:5 last night. It says, Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. I hope you all gave a very blessed day!

Goodmorning to all my precious friend. Hope you all had a great weekend.I really had a good one. We got back home late yesterday evening. I went to check my blog, and I was just overwhelmed at all my all my comments. My sweet friend Susan @ My Hands...His Glory had made a prayer button on her blog. I just sat there and cried. I am so Blessed to have each and everyone of you all. I thank God for you every night.All your prayers and encouragment means so much to me.That helps me to try to be a little bit stronger. I say the scripture, Phil. 4:13 over and over in my head. It says, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me! I am going to keep a positive additude about this. I know they are people in worse shape than I am.( My Mama always said, you think you are in bad shape, but you can look around and find someone in worse shape than you are.) I really like my doctor.She is a lady doctor. She was so kind to me.She took her time talking to us. Then she wanted to know if we had any questions. And of course we had plenty of them. She did not get in a hurry, or try to rush us out. I think if you have a good doctor,That helps your feeling a lot.She is a Christian also.That really impressed me. She said to me before I left, Mrs.Blalock call upon the Good Lord! Wow,You never hear many doctors saying that. She told me she believes in the power of prayer. I really believe God sent her to me! She said stage 2 was good, if it had been a 3 or 4, I would be in trouble.So that is a good thing.I have another CT scan comming up.After that, I guess I will get started with what ever treatment I need to do. I know the Lord is in control, and He will be with me through it all! I also know you all will be with me also.That means so much to me! I hope you all have a very Bessed day! May God Bless You All! My precious friends,thank-u for all your prayers.I need you to keep praying. The doctor told me today that the mass was a stage 2. I can not even say the word. I just call it a mass! I am going to try to have a good additude,and keep my faith in God.I do not understand, but I know He is in control. Isa.40:31 says, But they that wait upon the Lord, shall renew thier strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary,and they shall walk and not be faint. This was my Mamas favorite verse in the bible. I miss her so much.Especially at a time like this. I know I have got some long days ahead of me. I guess I will just make it one hour at a time most days. You all will never know how much you mean to me.I am so blessed to have you. We will be leaving out tomorrow for our Summerville home. I am looking fowards to getting away for a while.I guess we will be back Mon. night. Goodmorning to all my sweet friends.I have been thinking a lot about happiness.A couple of weeks ago, my grandaughter came in with a long face.I ask her what the problem was. She replied, Nanna I am not very happy today! I ask her why,She did not know.She was just not happy! I sat there for a while,and I told her,Abbi, my mama use to say when I was a girl little,I would have that same long face.she would tell me, now you have a choice! I replied.I do? mama said yes.You can choose to be happy,or you can choose to have a bad day! I do not think I will ever forget that day. Mama would tell me God does not want you to be sad. She told me everymorning when I got up,I could make the choice to have a happy day or a sad day! I was only about maybe 6 years old. That has always stuck in my mind.I remember telling my girls the same thing. Now I am telling my grandchildren the same story that Mama told me.As I got older,I knew my happiness came from the Lord. True happiness comes from the Lord.I do not know how I could make it without him.Thats the only peace I have in life.I wish you all the same happiness.Please continue to keep me in your prayers.I go back to the doctor in the morning.Oh I dread it, but right now I am just ready to get it all over, and find out where Iwill go from here.I hope you all have a very blessed day!I will keep you updated, as I find out! Goodmorning to all my dear friends. Hope you had a blessed weekend. The children came up yesterday. We had a great time. Dwight,{My sweet husband} fixed dinner for all of us.He did a wounderful job. One of my close friends called me sat. She was in tears. She told me she was so worried about me,I told her it was in Gods hands.I am scared.I can not help it.I am human.I have been reading my Bible.I am reminded that faith comes through hearing.I found this pic. of the rainbow.It means the promises of God! Only God could create such a beautiful pic. My friend told me to read Ps.112:7 and Phil.4:8. That brought me a lot of comfort. My precious Mother in Law has helped me so much.She is a wounderful God fearing Christian lady.I miss my mama so bad it hurts,But I am so blessed to have my mother in law.She is wise beond her years.She has been a Sunday school teacher for about 35 years. It seems as tho she just always knows what to say to me. She calls me her daughter in stead of her daughter in law.I know things will probadly crash in on me tomorrow,but so far I have been making it pretty good.It is just the Lord! I have took some index cards and wrote scriptures on them, I have them all over the house. They bring a lot of comfort to me. I was thinking yesterday, It is the little things in life that mean the most.Every day should be a blessing. We were outside looking at the flowers yesterday. I do not know how many times I have looked at them, But it is like I saw them for the first time.I guess you all will think I am crazy,but it is true! I am so blessed to have my family.They have been such a comfort to me. I am blessed also to have you all as my precious friends.As I said the other day,This blog was suppose to be for my crafts, But I know God had other plans for it.He knows all, and He knew I was going to need you all, my dear friends. You know I have been thinking how Blessed I am.The Lord has been so good to me.I had a dear friend that told me to read Ps.112:7,and Phil:8.I read them and they brought me a lot of comfort.This picture is what blessings is all about.These are 3 grandchildren that Had thier picture took with nanna! The other grands was outside playing.I have 10 of these little blessings.They have brought so much joy to my life.No matter how bad I feel when I look at them, well they have a way of changing your day.They are so humble and sincere.So full of love that they are so willing to give. And there is my precious daughters.I am so proud of them.They are my daughters ,best friends and most important,My sisters in Christ.There is my precious husband.He is so special to me. My family,my church family and you all,my precious bloging family.You all are there for me when ever I need you.You all help keep me going, with your prayers, cards ,and words of encouragement!God knows what He is doing.I believe with all my heart he sent each and everyone of you my way. Goodmorning to all my precious friend.I feel a little down today.I guess that is normal.I am trying to keep my faith in the Lord.I have a mustard seed that I keep with me at all times to remind me that if I can just keep that much faith,I am doing good!Matt.17:20 says ,If ye have faith as a grain of a mustard seed,ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to younder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matt.19:26 says with God all things are possible! That is what I am holding on to.I was thinking today,what have I accomplished in my life.I look back and I have made so many mistakes.In spite of all you can do you sin everyday.I do try to repent and ask God to forgive me.He is so merciful to all of his children. I have heard people say,What has God done for me, but the way I see it is what have I done for God. He has really Blessed me.Every morning you wake up is a Blessing. Some people just take thier life for granted,and do not act like they realize God is in control of the breath in thier body.I told my girls God has a way of keeping us on our toes.I miss my precious mama so bad.She told me a lot of things that I have seen come to past.She was a God fearing lady.She always told me that wisdom came with age.I know that to be true.As of today,I have just been taking it one hour at a time.The closer it gets to my doctors appointment,The more I dread it.I do know this has made me even closer to God.My life was so busy,I slacked up on reading my bible.But all the other things I had on my plate,does not seem so inportant right now.My time with the lord is most important to me right now.No matter what the doctor says, I know God is the great physican,and that is what I am holding on to.Man can not heal,but the God I know can. I can not began to tell you know how much you all mean to me.I have recieved beautiful cards and letters from a lot of you all. Little Kayleigh Anne,Has gone to be with the Lord.Please uplift her parents in prayer.I can not emagine to begain how they must feel right now.They left the hospital one final time with an empty car seat.My heart is breaking as I sit here and type this.This picture was taken on Sunday, Mothers Day! We do not understand things at times,But I know God is in control of all our lives. We do not know when it will be our time to go,But we are going.Death is for sure.I am glad God fixed it that way for us.If we knew we would all go crazy. Life is so precious. We are going to be leaving for our country home.I am really looking fowards to it.I figure we will be back Sunday or Monday at the latest.I am just taking my time trying to pack. Thank-u all for all your prayers. I have been so overwhelmed at all your precious comments.It has gave me strenght and courage to make it through the day! The lung doctor called me this morning and they are going to send me my paper work through the mail, so I can get it all filled out.I will be seeing them on the 20 of this month.We did a little research on this doctor. Goodevening to all my precious friends.I really need your prayers.I have been sick since thursday night.I went to the E.R early this morning.I went because I felt like I had a bug, and I could not get rid of it without seeing a doctor.They did several test on me and I thought all I need is some medicine and I can be on my way.They had me hooked up to all these machines and IV pumps.They were running fluids and steroids on me.I layed at what seemed to be forever.They was monitering everything in my body, I believe. I kept asking them what was going on,and the nurse replied, Now honey,You just lay here and rest.Do not worry about anything. Several hours later the doctor came in and said, Mrs.Blalock ,You have a mass on the back of your lung. You need to see a lung doctor, ASAP! I am scared.I do not know what this means.I do not know if it is cancer or what.Right now I feel numb. It is like I can not feel anything. You know last week I was working on a few crafts,and I remember feeling something like the size of a quarter between my shoulder blades.It hurt a little so I just stopped what I was doing and layed down.In my mind I figured it was a musle or something.I just need all your prayers.I hope this has made sence.I am still druged from today.I know God is in control,and he has a plan for me.That is what I am trying to hold on to right now.No matter what comes he is still on the throne.May God Bless You All my precious friends!

Goodmorning to all my precious friends. Hope you all had a blessed weekend. We did.There is so much I want to get done when we go to our Summerville home.I really need to paint and do a whole lot of major cleaning! I guess I will get it done in time. Seeing all the family is more important than anything, when I do get there. Thoes baby grands are so precious! Nathan is talking so good now.Noah was having a pretty good day.Luke is just Luke.I tell him he is the little man around the house,while dad is gone. Adam is so sweet.He is so loving! Gabbi is so grown up for an 8 year old! She is something else. Gavin is just a little chunk of love.They are all so precious.Thier moms is not so bad themselves! You know one of my friends was talking about Rom.chap.5:1-5 yesterday! It is some good scripture to read.It talks about (Therefore being justified by faith,we have peace with God through,our Lord Jesus Christ.By whom we also have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.And not only so,but we glory in tribulations also.Knowing that tribulation worketh patience.And patience, experience, and patience experience hope. And hope maketh not ashamed, because the love of our God is shed abroad in our hearts by the holy ghost, which is given to us).I just love that scripture! You know the closer you try to live for God, the more the devil will try to tare you down. I have learned he will only have as much power as I let him have. I am standing strong im my faith. I will be out of town for several days...My youngest daughter has been diagnosed with some sort of heart problem. The ER told her they couldn't do an extensive report, and referred her to the cardiologist. I am needed there to help with the lil' ones. Pray for her.
