GOODMORNING TO ALL MY PRECIOUS FRIENDS.I HOPE YOU HAD A RESTFUL NIGHT.MY HEART IS SO HEAVY RIGHT NOW.I NEED YOU ALL TO HELP ME PRAY FOR ONE OF MY SON-IN-LAWS! HE IS MARRIED TO MY YOUNGEST DAUGHTER,AND HE IS LOST! AMY GOT HIM TO GO TO CHURCH ONE TIME,AND MY SISTER-IN-LAW GOT HIM TO GO ONE TIME.I REALLY FEEL LIKE GOD IS DEALING WITH HIM.IT IS LIKE HE IS RUNNING FROM GOD.I KNOW HE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE IN CHURCH TO BE SAVED. HE HAD NEVER REALLY BEEN TO CHURCH.HE HAS NO FAMILY,WELL HE HAS ONE BROTHER LIVING.HE PRETTY MUCH RAISED HIMSELF.IT IS REALLY SAD.YOU KNOW WHEN WE PRAY WE HAVE TO PRAY IN FAITH,AND THAT IS WHAT I AM TRYING TO DO! IT IS HARD. IM NOT FOR SURE WHAT THIS SCRIPTURE SAYS,THIS IS OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD,SO I HOPE I DO NOT MISS QUOTE IT TO BAD. HEB:11:1 TALKS ABOUT FAITH BEING THE SUBATANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR,AND THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN! IAM GOING TO TAKE THIS TO THE CROSS AND LEAVE IT. THE LORD DOES NOT FORCE HIMSELF ON NO ONE.MY PRAYER IS THAT HE WILL KNEEL SOMEWHERE! I REALLY BELIEVE IT WILL NOT BE LONG BEFORE THE LORD COMES BACK TO GET HIS CHILDREN! I DO NOT WANT ROGER OR NO ONE TO BE LEFT BEHIND.
OH LORD WHAT AN OFFUL THING THAT WOULD BE! I AM GOING TO KEEP MY FAITH. I AM GOING TO KEEP THE FAITH THAT HE WILL SELL OUT TO GOD.I KNOW I HAVE ALL MY PRECIOUS FRIENDS AND I KNOW YOU ALL CAN GET A PRAYER THROUGH. PLEASE HELP ME PRAY FOR HIM. HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A VERY BLESSED DAY! LOVE IN CHRIST! FAYE

Praying for Roger's heart to be softened and for God to do a mighty work within Him in His perfect timing. (((hugs)))

Oh Lord, we just lift up Roger to you! You know his very soul, his whole being. We ask you Lord to shine your light on his heart. Help him to see you in all your glory. Guide him Lord. Soften his heart so that he will see his need for you. We know you desire for him to come to you. We just ask that you will wrap your loving arms around him and that he will choose you above all things.
ReplyDeleteIn your name,
Amen
Faye, II Peter 3:9 says that it isn't God's will that any should perish.
ReplyDeleteI'm believing along with you and our other praying sisters that Roger will come to realize that he is a sinner (like all of us) and he needs a savior.
Thank you for asking us to pray. What an honor it is to bring such a special desire of your heart before our Lord and Savior.
Love you!
Valerie
Dear Faye,
ReplyDeleteI will certainly pray for Roger, that he will come around before the Lord returns. I have a brother that is in the same situation, and I know that losing someone through death is not as bad as losing them through sin. I, too, feel that the time is short for us all, but "Where there is life, there is hope".
Love,
Marqueta
Faye,
ReplyDeleteI am praying for your son in law salvation. May you be an example of Christ in a way that he has never seen before.
Praying that GOD really reveals himself to him. Praying for his salavation.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog. It so encourages my soul to see other Christians who are in the same struggle with me in this journey called LIFE.
Love ya,
Larua
Of course we will keep him in prayer. Sometimes 'we' run from what is unknown to us and perhaps Roger is frightened. If only he would give in and realize the precious love and relief he could feel. Keep the faith. I returned to church after turning my back on God, my hubbs found his faith again, and my father, who never went to church as long as I was growing up, found God again at the age of 70. It can and will happen. As you say, we must stand on our faith and know that God is working "on" Roger and whatever plan He has for him.
ReplyDeleteHugs.
Hi Faye...you most certainly are in my prayers! I will be praying and believing with you for Roger (that the Lord will send the right people across his path to direct him to the cross, and that the scriptures prayed over him will return a great harvest of salvation and blessing!) God is good, and He is faithful...it is His desire that none perish, but ALL would come to Him.
ReplyDeleteYou are a precious friend, Faye...don't worry, just pray and may the peace of God flood your heart as you stand on His promises!!!
Be blessed,
Susan
Hi Faye...
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by the other day... I was glad to hear that your daughter's conf. went so well... A true blessing!
I'll pray for your SIL and the rest of your family... prayer is powerful, and taking things to the Lord is the best way to cope... Hold tightly to your Faith...
Hope your upcoming weekend is filled with joy...

Hi Faye~ I am praying right now for your son in law.
ReplyDeleteLove to you,
Jennifer
Pausing to pray right now. Thank you so much for being so kind to comment on my posts. You're a sweetie and a great encourager!
ReplyDeletePraying for you son in law right now - for God place people in his path who will live Christ not just speak Christ - for his heart be softened to the quiet whisper that is God's voice and for him to follow where only God leads.
ReplyDeleteI will be praying for your son-in-law that God will touch his heart in a miraculous way.
ReplyDeleteLike you I also believe that the Lord will be returning soon and most of us have lost loved ones. I think we all need to begin a time of fasting and prayer for their salvation. I will add your family and son in law to my prayer list.
ReplyDeleteHe will see the light one day but perhaps it will just take him longer.

Faye:
ReplyDeleteI'm praying!!!!! The Bible says "it's Your kindness that leads to repentance" and "they will know we are His disciples by the love we show for one another."
LOVE HIM, as you clearly do.
I truly believe love is the key to winning the lost.
Love you!
Sandy
Yes, I will pray with you and the others for him. What good is Faith if we don't use it, so I am standing with you on praying for his heart to surrendor to the most amazing, loving God.

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry you are going through this hard time. I will pray for your SIL and your daughter. I know it is so hard when we love someone who is a nonbeliever. I pray that the Lord will reveal Himself to him.
