Still Out of Town.....

Hello. This is Faye's daughter.... She ask that I update her blog for her.

My mom has been out of town for over a week. As the followers of her blog know, there was a death in the family. Their niece, my cousin. The funeral was a sad, but powerful time. The preaching was preaching. The singing was singing. All spirit filled. Jesus was proclaimed. The gospel message was of clear understanding. We know we'll see Kristy again in heaven. Months before her death she made it all right with God, and she made this known by "living by faith".

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement." Heb. 9:27....Even at 20 years of age.....

I thank God that for any age, "He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.

Kristy is with the Father. We will be with them, too, one day. We have a blessed hope.

Kristy was pregnant. 18 weeks. I think she and baby are in heaven walking the streets of gold!! Us moms remember the first child. The first touch. The first giggle. The firsts......But Kristy's "firsts" were all in the presence of the Father. WOW. Just a thought to meditate on.....

One last word. To my understanding Kristy was placed on life support to help "save the baby". What a testimony for the doctor....Most would have said the "fetus" wouldn't make it. But this man said "the baby" may. Ultimately, the baby, too, died.
